Aluminum clad steel wire meaning that aluminum covers on the steel core wire, aluminum clad steel wire/Alumoweld which is a kind of good conducting wire applied to electric cable and communication
extensively and so on internationally at present. It is show by comparison of properties of various conducting wires that Aluminum clad steel wire have good properties in respects of corrosion resistance,
conductibility, tensile strength and etc.Replacing traditional aluminium cable steel reinforced with aluminium cable aluminum clad steel wire reinforced can raise the service life of cable from 15years to 30
years on shore region, increase 5% - 8% conductivity and decrease 5% - 6% weight at the same transections.
Aluminum clad steel wire/Alumoweld conductivities 14% to 40%IACS，14%IACS, 20%IACS, 23%IACS, 27%IACS,30%IACS,35%IACS,40%IACS，aluminum area thickness is 25% cross sectional area.
The aluminium layer thickness is at least 10% of the wire radius and approximately 25% of the cross-sectional area. Conductivity is proportional to the aluminium layer thickness. Conductivities ranging from 20% to 40% IACS are available.
