Armoured Cable-Underground Cable

Armoured cable named SWA cable, AWA cable, STA cable, N2XBY, N2XRY, N2XRH and ect. SWA cable meaning steel wire armoured cable, AWA named aluminum wire armoured cable.STA Cable, named steel tape armoured cable.

Armoured Cable include low voltage armoured cable, medium voltage armoured cable, underground power cable, voltage up to 33kV， control cable with armoured, instrument cable with armoured, voltage up to 1kV. Above multicore armoured cable material is steel wire armoured, for single core, all armoured cable material is aluminum wire armoured or stainless steel wire armoured，it can prevent induced current in aluminum wire or stainless steel wire.

Armoured wire can protect the cable from external longitudinal tension and lateral pressure, cable can work well in underground, indoors or outdoors, direct burial avoid damage, besides, submarine cable construction including steel wire armoured, because in the deep sea,submarine cable need more higher pulling loads to protect.

What are the structures of armoured cables? It has 5 main structures.

Conductor: annealed copper or aluminum conductor.

Insualtion: polyvinyl chloride(PVC), polyethylene(PE) , crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE).

Inside sheath:polyvinyl chloride(PVC)，polyethylene(PE)，LSZH(Low Smoke Zero Halogen ) can protect armoured wire damage insulation core.

Armoured: Steel wire armoured, Aluminum Wire armoured, aluminum wire armoured, stainless steel wire armoured

Outside sheath，polyvinyl chloride(PVC) or polyethylene(PE), it can protect cable from external mechanical damage, also, we can offer cable sheath material insect resistant, rat-resistant and UV resistant，LSZH(low smoke halogen free).

Voltage: Power cable voltage up to 33kV, inculding 0.6/1kV, 3.6/6kV, 6/10kV, 6.35/11kV, 18/30kV, 19/33kV, control cable and up to 0.6/1kV, Instrument cable up to 300/500V..
