Our Dosense Cable produces a comprehensive range of concentric and split concentric cables BS7870. Also, we can produce aerial concentric service cable with communication cable. These copper and aluminum concentric cable is UK Power Network(UKPN) approved and are devised for use by Distribution Network Operators(DNOs) to provide the final connection to residential properties. Additional functionality includes use for sub-main distribution and within high-rise buildings and street lighting systems.

The choice beteen Concentric and Split Concentric cable is determined by the supply type:TN-C-S supply for Concentric and TN-S supply for Split Concentric. These are LSZH cable(low smoke zero halogen)with the outersheath suitable for installations requiring a reduction to the risk to human life or sensitive equipment in the event of fire.

Application

These cables are used for power supplier with Protective Multiple Earthing(PME) systems, where a combined Protective Earth(PE) and Neutral(N)-together known as the PEN-connects the combined neutral-and-earth to real earth at multiple locations to reduce the risk of electric shock in the event of a broken PEN.
