Cables Autoportantes CABLE CAAI/Self Supporting Cable Description

Consisting of two or three phase conductors (hard aluminum 1350) plus one or two conductors for lighting (hard aluminum 1350), wiring around the insulated support conductor (aluminum alloy 6201). The insulation materials (XLPE) are resistant to weather, abrasion and sunlight.

Operating voltage: 0.6/1 kV. Operating temperature: 90°C. In emergency conditions: 130°C. Installation: secondary distribution. Cable Size: from 16 mm2 Up to 120 mm2. Under short circuit conditions: 250°C. Identification: the conductors shall be identified by ribs or edges extruded longitudinally over the insulation.

Cables CAAI Applications

Used in urban or rural secondary distribution systems. Connections with the transformator and to the user. They do not require the use of insulators.

NTP 370.254/ XLPE insulated self-supporting overhead distribution cable, voltage not exceeding 0.6/1kV.
NTP-IEC 60228/ Conductor for insulation cables.
